The North Atlantic Ocean has an interesting group of volcanic islands on the eastern side of the Ocean. Locally, these islands are called Macaronesia. There are several exotic islands such as Madeira, the Savage Islands, Azores, the Cape Verde islands and the Canary Islands. Each island has its own volcanic origins; each one is different from another. Tenerife is probably the most famous island not only for its unique beaches but also for being the largest island of the entire group.

Tenerife is considered for many people as 1a piece of heaven in the earth. This island is blessed by having some of the most natural landscapes, stunning white sandy beaches and impressive cliffs. The total area of the Tenerife Island is 2036 square kilometers (786 sq miles); the latitude of the island is usually 28 degrees in the north and 16.5 degrees in the west for the longitude.
